My Story

So, how did we get here?

Well… Helia didn’t exactly appear overnight. 

I’ve been making wax melts for years, and somewhere along the way I realised I was spending far too much time worrying about what I should be making, what everyone else was doing and whether people would like it.

And eventually I thought… sod that.

Helia is me doing things my way.

It’s the scents I love. The things I actually want in my own home. The little details that make me ridiculously happy. The weird ideas that pop into my head at completely inappropriate times and the products that make me think “Ooooh, I bloody love that.”

Everything is made by me, in small batches, because I genuinely enjoy creating it.

There’s no giant factory, no conveyor belt and definitely not a room full of people churning out melts all day. 

Just me, my wax, a ridiculous number of fragrances and an unhealthy obsession with making homes smell bloody gorgeous.

Helia is about making your home feel good.

Sometimes that’s a beautiful scent filling the room.

Sometimes it’s five minutes with the door shut, the burner on and nobody asking you for anything.

And sometimes it’s simply walking through your front door and thinking…

“Ooh. My house smells bloody lovely.”
